"Sunrise At Camp"

Depiction of the morning sunrise from the east, over the Blackfeet Sundance near Family Mission Cemetery on Joe Show Road, where our relatives sleep. Before anyone else is up, dancers huddle around the bathroom made just for them. They're cloaked in colorful blankets hooded in concealment. A teepee lodge sits to the far West of the camp. In four directions, North, South, East, West there are portals of two tree branches as the gateways to enter and exit the ceremony space. The barrier and center pole are open for view as the doorway extends south. 12 poles are connected to the Mother, where man and woman combine in a bundle. The fire remains lit inside. (Late 1800's Ledger Paper with ink and colored pencils.)
